International scheduled flights to/from Albania are carried out in accordance with the Air Transport Agreement concluded between the Republic of Albania and the state of origin of the airline concerned.

Authorization for approval of a scheduled service to/from Albania rests with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Albania.

If not otherwise specified in the Air Transport Agreement, timetables shall be submitted for approval to the address given below at least 30 days prior to the beginning of each lATA timetable season. Any subsequent modification shall be notified at least 3 working days prior to its introduction. Unless a negative reply is received 24 hours prior to the flight, permission is deemed to be granted.
